Elementary School Parents! Please see the attached paper for school picture orders! Picture day is September 17th!!!

Don't forget to add money to the jar of the person/people you think should kiss an animal! Currently leaders are: Mrs. Kelderman (Elementary Teacher), Angel (HC Girl), Jud (HC Boy), and Mrs. Bricker (High School Teacher). Jars will be picked up at 10am on Wednesday.

Flu shots for Twin Cedars Schools will be Tuesday, October 8. We will arrive at 12:30pm. I have attached the flu form to this email. Please send the attached consent form district wide via email/website so all parents receive it. Flu forms are due on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. The parent/guardian will be responsible for filling out the consent form and returning it to the school nurse. I will pick up completed forms/payment from the schools on Thursday, September 26. Please let us know if you would like a paper copy. For students who have private insurance that cover immunizations, there is a $30 charge for the flu shot. For those on Medicaid, no health insurance, underinsured, or American Indian/Alaskan Native, there is no cost because we are part of the Vaccines for Children program, and they cover the cost for those who are eligible. Mr. Bacus will have a couple of construction trades classes that have the ability to build bigger projects this year! If you are in need of a shed, chicken coop, dog house etc., please reach out to Mark Bacus (Mbacus@twincedarscsd.org).

During the Iowa State Fair, Twin Cedars FFA had 13 volunteers work at the Cattlemen's Beef Quarters! This means we received a check for $650 to help pay out district and state FFA Dues! Thank you all for your hard work!

Way to Go Ladies!!! It's a great way to start the season.

Just a note to share that elementary students are invited to join in the fun with the Homecoming Week dress up days! The elementary students will be watching the Saber games and pep rally as well. Our elementary Sabers Screamers will participate in the pep rally.

We would love to see students participating!!!!!!

Do you like to work with kids, but not able to commit to a full-time schedule? We are looking for substitute associates to cover for our elementary associates when they need to be absent.
