The Creative Writing class just finished their children's book unit. Each student had to pick their favorite book to read to the class and analyze it. For the final of the unit, each student created their own children's book. Be on the lookout for their children's books on bookshelves in the near future!

Is your student planning to attend college or undecided about their future? Twin Cedars is hosting an Understanding Financial Aid Night on Monday, December 18th at 6pm! This is open to all Marion County Juniors & Seniors (and their parents)!

Oh What Fun it is to Read! Teachers and associates visited different grade levels today and read Christmas/Winter Stories to the students. It is fun to reconnect with former students or introduce ourselves to younger students.

Today we received word that we have a few elementary students severely allergic to tree-nuts. The allergy is life-threatening. We will no longer serve peanut butter sandwiches or foods with tree-nuts in the cafeteria. (sun-butter and jelly sandwiches will be offered instead.) We ask that you do not send these foods in a lunch sent from home. Homemade snacks will not be allowed for treats and parties; please send store packaged items. Notes are coming home with students today. Thank-you for your cooperation.

We had a fabulous day at the Drake Women's Basketball game!
