Twin Cedars Elementary is searching for an associate to work with two special needs students in the morning and in the preschool room in the afternoon. Hours are 7:30-3:30. Friday, October 6, all students and staff will be dismissed at 2:15 for the Homecoming festivities. Homecoming parade is at 5:00 in Bussey. The football game starts at 7:00. Come out and support the Blue and White!

The elementary had our first Celebrations Assembly of the year. Today we recognized 10 Students of the Month: RubyGrace Lankford, Eli Chance, Jarrett Parker, Kahrynn Wooldridge, Ricky Smith, Jenna Greatbatch, Saphira Evans, Sydney McElroy, Tanner Weldon and Newt Hoy. We also recognized our first Library Leader, Ryker Wooldridge. We had two bus riders recognized: Mason Evans and Izzy Puyear. We have had 65 students with perfect attendance thus far. We have had 3 classes with 10 perfect attendance days: Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 4th grade. The traveling trophy went to 1st grade with a 89% attendance rating. We recognized two classes for their good behavior in the lunchroom-1st and 5th. Those two classes enjoyed lunch outside today. We have so much to be proud of at Twin Cedars.

On Thursday 9/28, pulled pork sandwiches and chips will be sold for $5 to benefit TC After Prom. Dinner will be served from 5pm until sold out. Baked goods will also be available for purchase.
